Kaylee
Veterinary Technician
Hi, I’m Kaylee! I am passionate about patient care, emergency medicine, and education.
I joined the Newberry team as a veterinary technician when the Emergency Center opened in 2023. But I began working in emergency veterinary medicine as an assistant in 2022 and immediately fell in love with the job. I love the ever-changing nature of the ER. I’m always learning new ways to help pets and their owners, and that’s so exciting to me.
When I’m not working, I’m usually studying, writing, or spending time with my four cats: Night Fury, Pippin, Hiccup, and Momo.
Lia
Veterinary Technician
Hi there! My name is Lia, and I embarked on this journey in 2018 after leaving my office job. My first clinic was NAHCC, where I worked for three years. Then, I left to gain more experience at the YCSPCA low-cost clinic. Although my time there was brief, I was eager to return to my Newberry family in 2023. I absolutely love working with sick patients and helping them recover. Client education is also of utmost importance to me.
In my free time, I love taking care of my 13 cats, spending quality time with my husband, and watching documentaries. I cherish my family and make sure to spend time with them whenever possible.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all our clients for trusting me with the care of your beloved companion animals. If you need me, please don’t hesitate to ask for Lia. I’ll be more than happy to assist you.

Danica
Receptionist & Veterinary Technician
Hello, I'm Danica. I have been working in the emergency veterinary field since I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2021. I started as a receptionist and have worked my way up to a technician due to passion for animal care. My fondness for veterinary medicine started when I began caring for my own special needs kitty. Fury inspires me to keep working hard and caring for new patients every day.

Jessica
Veterinary Technician
I recently joined the Newberry Animal Health Care Center team! I bring a wealth of experience from my extensive background as a veterinary technician. I am skilled, confident, incredibly organized and am able to appear calm and collected in the busiest of situations. As an animal lover from a young age, I take pride in advocating for animal well-being, ensuring that pets receive the best possible care, including being their voice when needed. I have a special place in my heart for tiny dogs and currently share my home with two spunky
chihuahuas, Walter and Josie. When I’m not in the clinic, I can be found kayaking, hiking or
working on some sort of artistic project around the house.
