I have been practicing veterinary medicine since 2008. And have a strong background in small animal medicine and emergency care, and dabble in pocket pet health. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, thorough, and individualized care for every patient.

I believe that great veterinary care is built on trust and communication and take pride in partnering with pet owners to help them make informed decisions about their pets’ health and well-being.

I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending quality time with my family. I am currently fascinated with the art of sourdough bread baking.

Dr. Linter is a 2025 graduate of the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. She is passionate about creating positive, fear free, low-stress experiences for pets and their owners. Her professional interests include exotic animal care and wildlife conservation, and she is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care for all her patients. At home, Dr. Linter shares her life with three beloved cats; Nona, Ralph, and Cheese.

Hi there! My name is Lia, and I embarked on this journey in 2018 after leaving my office job. My first clinic was NAHCC, where I worked for three years. Then, I left to gain more experience at the YCSPCA low-cost clinic. Although my time there was brief, I was eager to return to my Newberry family in 2023. I absolutely love working with sick patients and helping them recover. Client education is also of utmost importance to me. 

In my free time, I love taking care of my 13 cats, spending quality time with my husband, and watching documentaries. I cherish my family and make sure to spend time with them whenever possible.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to all our clients for trusting me with the care of your beloved companion animals. If you need me, please don’t hesitate to ask for Lia. I’ll be more than happy to assist you.

Hello, my name is Camilo. My story at Newberry Animal Health Care started in May 2023 as a kennel assistant. I have since worked my way up to more hands-on care as an assistant. I love being able to work with the doctors and technicians to help handle patients that come in.
I have always had a passion for animals of every shape and size. And strive to give each patient the same compassionate care that I do my own cats Cinnamon and Sugar.

Hello, I'm Danica. I have been working in the emergency veterinary field since I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2021. I know work in general practice medicine at Newberry since May 2023, but still have a passion for emergent cases that come in.
I started as a receptionist and have worked my way up to a technician due to love for animal care. My fondness for veterinary medicine started when I began caring for my own special needs kitties; Night Fury, Hiccup, Momo, and Az. They inspire me to keep working hard and caring for new patients like they were my own every day.

Hi, I'm Makenna! I recently started my journey in the veterinary field after completing my externship at NAHCC in December 2025.
I did my online schooling to become an Approved Veterinary Assistant. I have always been fascinated by veterinary medicine and advocating for animals, so being able to do that myself has been rewarding. I'm always striving to improve and learn as much as I can! In the short time I have been working in the veterinary field, it's clear that this is my passion and helping animals is what I love. I have always had pups at home and that's a big reason on why I strive to advocate for your pets. At home, I have several furry friends at home named Kalie, Willow, and Fern; I will always be with them and my family in my spare time. The love and loyalty a pet can have is truly special!

With over 25 years of experience in the veterinary field, I have dedicated my career to caring for animals across a variety of settings, including 10 years in shelters and rescues, alongside over 15 years in emergency medicine and general practice. My devotion to animal welfare extends well beyond my professional life; my family and I regularly foster orphaned babies, feed neighborhood strays, and help rehome animals in need. My deep love for animals was passed down from my father and grandmother, who taught me early on that every animal is worth saving.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exploring flea markets with my dad, playing video games with my husband, and relaxing at home with our dogs.

Hi, I’m Kaylee! I am passionate about patient care, emergency medicine, and education.

I joined the Newberry team as a veterinary technician when the Emergency Center opened in 2023. But I began working in emergency veterinary medicine as an assistant in 2022 and immediately fell in love with the job. I love the ever-changing nature of the ER. I’m always learning new ways to help pets and their owners, and that’s so exciting to me.

When I’m not working, I’m usually studying, writing, or spending time with my four cats.

My name is Wyatt and I am a Veterinary Assistant here at Newberry Animal Health Care Center. I started working here in May 2026, but my veterinary medicine journey started 3 years before I came here. I shadowed at multiple veterinary clinics, interned at a zoo, and worked at an animal shelter to gain hands-on veterinary experience. I love to hike, do some photography, and be active with any kind of recreational sport! As of now I do not have any pets of my own, but at my hometown I have 3 cats. A fun fact about me is that I traveled to Italy with my college soccer team to play soccer and explore the culture of Italy.
